Main objectives of the job
- To support Business teams as Finance Business
Partner
- To prepare financial plans for business units and agree actions
to ensure that financial targets are met
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Give financial support for Business Teams decisions. Ensure all
decisions are built on economic logic, on fact rather than
opinions, and on a total company view not a single category
- Be a challenger and a support to the business
- To run Annual and Long-Term Plan processes for categories,
within overall process managed by Senior Finance Manager Foods
- To maintain a rolling financial forecast for categories,
updated monthly; analyse variances in profit delivery
- To agree actions to ensure financial targets are met for the
categories
- To closely liaise with sourcing unit Finance manager to monitor
costs for products produced on-shore
- To prepare business models and analysis of innovation projects
and promotional activities
- To monitor Advertising and Promotion costs for the
categories
- To analyse trends in cost behavior and make decisions on
pricing
- Ensure compliance with SCOA and Unilever Accounting
standards
- Participate as necessary in financial function
projects/activities
- Identify areas for cost saving and drive through
improvements

Personnel Specification:
- Background/Education + qualifications
- University degree (CIMA/ACCA as a plus)
