Internal auditor

Responsibilities

• Performs internal auditing activities both for Media Markt stores and HQ
• Participates in the development of engagements schedule and standard audit programs
• Makes necessary preparatory work for audit engagements
• Accurately and timely records relevant information to support the conclusions and engagement results
• Evaluates audit evidence on the basis of business perspective; works out verbal and written audit recommendations
• Promptly prepares and issues audit reports; discusses and aligns audit reports and audit recommendations with audit clients
• Assists management in development of measure plans (corrective actions) to address internal audit recommendations. Follows up and reports on progress in action plans implementation
• Maintains proper communication and supports stores on internal audit related matters
• Fulfills other tasks and supports special projects agreed with Internal Audit Manager

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of previous work experience in auditing, accounting or finance
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
•  Self confident, able to defend his/her position
• Good presentation skills
• Good English both writing and oral
• Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel required
