    Business Area/Line of Business Field Services

    Main Purpose of Job The goal is to work out strategies and solution landscapes and based on this, to elaborate sales opportunities. The consulting manager manages a team of consultants in a specific solution area, industry and applies his proven engagement and delivery experience covering the full customer engagement cycle. 

    Core Tasks/Responsibilities

    • Provide expert services and advice to target accounts to successful manage the customer engagement and ensure highest customer satisfaction
    • Support Field Services and sales teams in the preparation, conception, realization and go live of national and international SAP implementation projects in the services arena
    • Support Consulting Director in the creation of the team and then for the performance management, deployment, development of consultants, especially those dedicated to engagement management
    • Responsible for the continuous upskilling of consultants and the delivery of high value consulting services
    • Take responsibility for achievement of financial targets
    • Working closely wit internal entities, customers and partners to identify requirements and provide input for product development and management

    Profile requirements:
    Education

    • High technical or economic education

    Experience 

    • At least 8 years of business and in-depth services experience and Retail industry knowledge
    • Experienced in project management, IT and consulting methodologies
    • A minimum of 5 years in SAP engagement management lead or programme management roles covering the full customer engagement life cycle, consulting and pre-sales
    • Deep knowledge and experience of consulting and the enterprise applications business

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Excellent people management skills
    • Strong analytical skills, result-oriented and effectiveness in problem-solving
    • Ability to present complex information to customers and colleagues in a clear and appealing manner
    • Ability and flexibility to implement and manage change
    • Creative individual with strong networking ad customer relationship management capabilities

    Languages

    • Good knowledge of English
