Main Purpose of Job
The Metal and Mining (M&M) group defines industry solutions
based on a Service Oriented Architecture especially for mineral
resource industry and metallurgy.
This includes a holistic combination of integrated tools, a
broad set of predefined content, pragmatic methods and standardized
processes across the entire life cycle enabling SAP, customers and
partners to continuously adapt the solution in a quick, simple, and
business-oriented fashion.
Core Tasks/Responsibilities
- Support sales and implementation activities of SAP solutions
for production in metal and mining industries.
- Support of implementation projects and SAP Field Sales in
pre-sales activities related to PP
- Support of implementation MRP, Production Orders Creation,
Capacity Requirements Planning and Production Execution
processes
- Knowledge of integration to SAP APO and/or MESS is desired
- Preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer
implementation regarding PP
- M&M Industry and process-oriented consulting with external
and internal customers
- Performance of feasibility studies/project reviews
- Taking over responsibility from time to time as sub project
team leader
- Lecturing in SAP Education Center
Profile requirements:
- Education
- Higher education (physic mathematics and/or economic)
- Experience
Project experience implementing SAP ERP as PP consultant
- Experience in studying, analyzing client’s business
processes
- Project management experience is preferable
- Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of planning processes. Deep functional knowledge of SAP
PP
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong leadership
- Analytical way of thinking, good communication skills,
responsibility
- He or she should be an active team player with strong
communication and relationships-building skills, capable and
willing to take responsibilities
- He or she should be results-oriented and have a high potential
for growth
- Languages
- Good knowledge of English
