Project manager is responsible for
successful SAP project implementation
Main tasks:
- Responsible for all commercial activity within projects
from contract signature through to final account
settlement;
- Participating in providing the project with required
resources;
- Responsible for successful project realization in
compliance with predetermined time, quality, costs, profit
criteria;
- Conducting project according to predetermined methodology
and internal standards; operational project management by all key
points;
- Managing client’s expectations during
project;
- Ensuring that client drivers and priorities are
understood and addressed;
- Framing decision-making based on business
trade-offs;
- Manages peer-level client relationships (expectations,
communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback,
etc.);
- Developing relationships with key client stakeholders and
client executives and ensures appropriate level of participation
throughout engagement;
- Project team management, including client and
partners;
- Ensuring the most effective allocation of resources and
instrumental tools required for project;
- Analysis of project conduct efficiency;
- Timely escalation of problems;
- Securing the appropriate project staffing;
- Ensuring the execution of project reviews;
- Driving productivity into the project works;
- Establishing management processes and procedures for the
delivery of Projects;
- Ensuring timely maintenance and refreshment of all
project documentation and information including SAP internal
systems;
- Delivery of project results to Program Manager or
AM/SM;
- Education: High technical
or economic education (MBA degree is preferable);
- Languages:English
(fluent).
Professional background:
- 3+ years SAP project management experience,
preferably in a client-service organization; client management
experience with primary accountability for peer-level client
relationships at the executive level;
- Experienced multiple full project lifecycles from
business development to final delivery;
- Experience using object oriented design and development
methodologies;
- Experience helping to drive business development efforts
with new and existing clients;
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
(preferably in an integrated program); developing and monitoring
project timelines and budget;
- Led teams with multiple discipline representation
(especially technology, creative, and strategy);
- Experience as consultant or specialist of Pre-Sales
department;
- Experience in studying and analyzing client’s
business-processes;
- Skill to work in team and to coordinate team work in
order to achieve the result in the given time frame.
