SOLUTION CONSULTANT UTILITIES (TECHNICAL ASSET
MANAGEMENT)
Center of Expertise Utilities is responsible for implementation
of industry-specific SAP solutions as well as for sales support,
industry best-practice collection and distribution.
This implies the whole spectrum of activities from market
development, to sales support, project implementation, knowledge
management and education. Industry consultant must work in tight
cooperation with the client project team, transferring knowledge
and sometimes managing small-group activities within the general
project framework.
Core Tasks/Responsibilities
- Presales support and workload/timing estimation
- AS IS process analysis and definition of customer
requirements
- Active participation in project implementation
- Client team training (hands-on)
- Project document management
- Small-group management
- Best-practice definition and knowledge management
Profile requirements:
- Education Higher
education (power utilties, engineering, physic mathematics,
economic)
- Experience
- Project experience implementing enterprise-level industry
solutions (billing, energy data management, asset management) or
ERP
- Project experience implementing SAP ERP or SAP IS-U is a major
plus
- Project experience implementing SAP PM is a plus (2+
years)
- Experience in studying, analyzing client’s business
processes
- Project management experience is preferable
- Skills & Qualifications
- Basic-level understanding of power generation, transmission and
distribution business processes
- Self-learning and information research skills
- Analytical way of thinking, good communication skills,
responsibility
- He or she should be an active team player with strong
communication and relationships-building skills, capable and
willing to take responsibilities
- He or she should be results-oriented and have a high potential
for growth
- Languages
- Good knowledge of English
